Vietnamese Coffee:

Vietnamese coffee utilizes one of our favorite coffee brewing devices called a “phin”.  Introduced by French colonialists in the 1800’s, it is composed of four stainless steel parts: a plate, body, press disk and lid.  A traditional Vietnamese coffee uses an indulgent amount of condensed milk with the brewed coffee released on top and mixed.  Adding ice makes for an amazing and refreshing cold drink as well.  Those with a sweet tooth will love this drink!

This is a barista favorite with Spanish origins. The name means “cut” in Spanish – the espresso is cut with an equal amount of steamed milk for a well-balanced drink.
